ATEMAL – 240

Composition:
ARTESUNATE 240 MG

Indication:
Atemal 240 Injection is used for the treatment of severe falciparum malaria caused by the parasite Plasmodium falciparum. It is not used to prevent malaria or to treat severe malaria (where it has affected the brain, lungs, or kidneys). Artesunate is specifically indicated for the initial treatment of severe malaria in both adult and pediatric patients. Also used for the initial treatment of severe malaria. Always followed by oral antimalarial therapy.
