Composition:
ARTESUNATE 120 MG

Indication:
Atemal 120 Injection is used for the treatment of severe falciparum malaria caused by the parasite Plasmodium falciparum. It is not used to prevent malaria or to treat severe malaria (where it has affected the brain, lungs, or kidneys). Artesunate is specifically indicated for the initial treatment of severe malaria in both adult and pediatric patients. It is available as a powder for intravenous or intramuscular injection. Healthcare providers typically administer it directly into a vein. Followed by a complete course of oral antimalarial treatment.
